English: Here you can find the JACK compilergenerator.
Download the file
JackInstaller2.2.3.jar
to an arbitrary directory and
simply start it with the command "java -jar JackInstaller2.2.3.jar" (alternatively you may use the experimental version
JackInstaller2.2.4.jar).
In the following dialog you can choose another arbitrary destination directory
to install JACK as a "standalone" application. When "jEdit" (version 4.0) is already
installed and a
"jEdit"-directory is selected (which is the default), JACK is installed as a Plugin
for "jEdit". For more details see
the chapter "Installation" of the documentation.
JACK is published under the GNU public license. The sources can be downloaded
from JackSource2.2.3.zip. If you want to rebuild Jack from source, you must provide a directory named "Jack" within the "jars" directory of jEdit. Unpack the source archive there and execute "java -jar jmk.jar".
The documentation can be found in PDF-format in
jack.pdf (in the moment only in German).
